Pointers Set for a Big Home & Home Series with UW-Eau Claire. Friday Features the Annual Teddy Bear Toss

NEWS: Tonight’s @UWSPMhockey vs. UW-Eau Claire game at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point, WI has been postponed.


A make up date is set for January 18th, 7:30pm at K.B. Willett Arena.

The UWSP Men’s Hockey Team is set for a big Home & Home Series with WIAC Play against UW-Eau Claire Friday Dec 10th at Home and Saturday Dec 11th at UWEC.

Looking back at last weekend where the Pointers traveled to UW-Stout on Friday Dec 3rd where they won 6-3. The Pointers backed that up Saturday Dec 4th when they hosted Northland College and won 5-1.
The Pointers are 8-3-1 Overall.

​The hockey tradition of the teddy bear toss will return to K.B. Willett Arena this Friday Dec 10th. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal (teddy bear) and toss it on the ice following the Pointers' first goal of the game. All teddy bears will be collected for donation to Operation Bootstrap, a Stevens Point-based non-profit organization.
