The UWSP Men’s Hockey Team opened up the 2021-22 Season on the road Friday October 29th to take on longtime rival St. Norbert. The Pointers scored two goals at 7:04 and 7:27 into the first period. Later in the first period St. Norbert cut the Pointers lead in half finishing the first period at UWSP 2 St. Norbert 1.

Saturday October 30th the Pointers returned home to the K.B. Willett Arena for the second game of the home and home Series against St. Norbert where it also marked the return of fans to K.B. Willett Arena.

​St. Norbert scored first just 2:34 into the first period, five minutes later Brandon McReynolds tied the game up 1-1. ​16 seconds later St. Norbert took back the lead and scored twice more by the middle of the first period.

The UWSP Men’s Hockey Team hits the road to Minnesota as they face Gustavous Adolphus Fri Nov, 5th and St. Scholastica Sat Nov, 6th. Both Faceoffs and set for 7pm.

The UWSP Men's Hockey Team is set to get the 2021-22 season underway with a Home and Home Series against longtime rival St. Norbert College Oct. 29th @ St. Norbert and Oct. 30th in the home opener at K.B. Willett Arena Stevens Point, WI. The Pointer Blue Line Club, UWSP Hockey Team and UWSP Athletics are excited to welcome back fans to the K.B. Willett Arena.
