​The UWSP Mens Hockey team will be hosting a Military Appreciation Night on Feb 5th at 7pm. The team is partnering with United Heroes League- a non profit organization that actively works to ensure children of military service members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports. Their website is www.unitedheroesleague.org. Proceeds from the auction and shirt sales will be shared by UWSP Men's Hockey team and United Heroes League. 

We are excited to announce the following activities:
1. Jersey Auction: The UWSP Men's Hockey team will be wearing special Pointers camo jerseys that will be auctioned off via the DASH AUCTION online auction app. The auction will run from Thursday January 20th starting at 12 Noon through the beginning of 3rd period on Feb 5th.

2. The Pointers Blueline Club will be selling limited edition special commemorative long sleeve camo shirts at the game.

3. The United Heroes League reps will be at the game and will be accepting youth hockey gear donations. Any youth player donating equipment and wearing their jersey will receive free admission to the game.  The gear needs to be in good condition-please no mouthguard, socks or jerseys- pants, pads, skates, sticks, gloves, helmets and such will be accepted. Mite and Squirt gear is in high demand. 

4. The team will also be offering free admission to the first 50 veterans that present a military ID or military veteran credentials at the admissions table that night. 

5. The Plover VFW will have a color guard on hand for the National Anthem.

Limited Edition Commemorative Long Sleeve Camo Shirts:

Limited edition special commemorative long sleeve camo shirts will be for sale at the merchandise stand on Feb 5th.

Secondary option:
Pointers Mens Hockey team will be accepting special orders for the Military Appreciation night commemorative t-shirts to allow for larger size orders and out of state or non local orders. For those requesting shipment of tshirts there will be a shipping fee added to the t-shirt cost.
