The UWSP Men’s Hockey team is back in action this weekend after the Christmas and New Years break to host two non conference games at K.B. Willett Arena.

Last time out the Pointers and UW-Eau Claire Blugolds battled it out December 9th and 10th in a home-home series where the Pointers swept the Blugolds 6-2 in game 1 and 3-2 in game 2 in a overtime win in Eau Claire.

The first half of the 2022/23 UWSP Men’s Hockey season will come to a close before the Christmas and New Year Holiday break with a Home-and-Home weekend with UW-Eau Claire. Friday Dec 9th the Pointers host UWEC at K.B. Willett Arena and then hit the road to Eau Claire on Saturday December 10th to finish up 2022.

The UWSP Men’s Hockey team returns to action Friday December 2nd and Saturday December 3rd after their Thanksgiving break.

​Last time out, the Pointers scored two wins against WIAC’s UW-Stout on November 18th by a score of 3-2 and against Northland College on November 19th by a score of 5-2.

Friday December 2nd the Pointers are on the road to face UW-River Falls River Falls, WI. Saturday December 3rd the Pointers return home to K.B. Willett Arena Stevens Point, WI to host UW-Superior.

The UWSP Men’s Hockey team opens up WIAC conference play this weekend with a split home and away weekend.

​Friday November 18th the Pointers host UW-Stout at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point, WI before hitting the road Saturday November 19th for Ashland, WI where the Pointers face Northland College. Broadcast information for both games are listed below.

The UWSP Men's Hockey Team will hit the road November 11th and 12th for a pair of games in Minnesota against Saint Mary's University (Nov. 11th, 2pm) and St. Olaf College (Nov. 12th, 7pm).

Last weekend the Pointers hosted Gustavus Adolphus College were the ​game ended in a tie of 2-2 in overtime. The next night St. Scholastica came to K.B. Willett Arena where the Pointers won by a score of 2-1.

The UWSP Men’s Hockey team is set for the second weekend of the 2022/23 season with a pair of home games on Friday November 4th vs. Gustavus Adolphus and Saturday November 5th vs. College of St. Scholastica.

This weekend we also celebrate and welcome parents of the team for UWSP Men’s Hockey annual parents weekend. The parents and players will be recognized before the game on Saturday November 5th.

Friday October 28th the Pointers travel to Cornerstone Community Center in Ashwaubenon, WI to face St. Norbert where in the 2021/22 season the Pointers won 4-3 at St. Norbert.

Saturday October 29th the UWSP Men’s Hockey team returns home to K.B. Willett Arena Stevens Point, WI for the first home game of the season and the second game of the home and home weekend against St. Norbert College. The UWSP Men’s Hockey team will also pay tribute to long time Pointers Hockey supporter and goal judge Joe “Cookie” Schaefer before the game with a moment of silence and a ceremonial puck drop by Mary Schaefer.

For the eighth time in a row the UWSP Men's Hockey team heads to the WIAC Tournament Championship game. The Pointers will face UW-Eau Claire on Saturday March 5th at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point WI.

The UWSP Men's Hockey Team won the 2021-22 WIAC Regular Season with a WIAC record of 11-2-0 to advance them to the WIAC Semifinals February 25th & 26th at K.B. Willett Arena in Stevens Point, WI.

Looking back the Pointers traveled to Northland College on February 11th where they won 6-2 and February 12th with a 7-3 win also against Northland College.
